Nuggets Terms Supplement

This Nuggets Terms Supplement applies to your use of the Nuggets app experience and forms part of the Umbrella Journal Terms & Conditions. If there is a conflict between this supplement and the general Terms, this supplement governs for Nuggets-specific features.

1. Scope

This supplement covers Nuggets journal prompts, tiny habit plans, mascot experiences, Buddy Nest shared lists, reminders, focus blocks, subscriptions, and related app features. Your use of Nuggets is also subject to the general Umbrella Journal Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Medical Disclaimer.

2. What Nuggets is (and is not)

Nuggets is a self-care, journaling, habit, and focus support app. Nuggets does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, psychotherapy, crisis counseling, treatment planning, or emergency monitoring. No clinician-patient, therapist-client, or other licensed professional relationship is created by using Nuggets.

If you are in immediate danger or may harm yourself or others, contact local emergency services now. In the U.S. and Canada, call or text 988 for suicide and crisis support and call 911 for emergencies.

3. Nuggets Plus subscriptions, trials, and renewal

Nuggets may offer optional paid features through Nuggets Plus. Subscription options may include monthly and annual auto-renewable plans, and may include a free trial or promotional offer when shown in the app and the applicable app store purchase sheet.

Before you confirm a subscription, Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, Stripe, or another authorized payment provider will show the price, billing period, trial or promotional period if available, renewal terms, and confirmation controls. If you start a free trial, the subscription converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends according to the applicable store rules.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price and interval unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, or as otherwise required by the applicable store or payment provider. You authorize the applicable store or payment provider to charge subscription fees and taxes at each renewal until canceled.

4. Cancellation, refunds, and account deletion

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, cancellation, refunds, and subscription management are handled by that store. Umbrella Journal cannot cancel an app-store subscription for you. To cancel on iOS, open your Apple account subscription settings and cancel the Nuggets subscription.

Deleting your Nuggets account or deleting the app does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription. You must cancel through the store or payment provider that manages your subscription.

Refund availability is governed by the applicable store, payment provider, and law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable rules or statutes.

5. AI-generated and suggested content

Nuggets may generate or suggest tiny plans, focus steps, journal prompts, mascot responses, summaries, or other content using automated systems or AI. Suggested content may be incomplete, inaccurate, repetitive, stale, or not appropriate for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before relying on them.

Nuggets is for wellness, reflection, habits, and personal productivity. Do not rely on Nuggets output for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, employment, housing, insurance, academic, or other professional decisions without appropriate human professional review.

6. Buddy Nest and shared-list features

Buddy Nest and shared-list features are designed for lightweight encouragement with someone you trust. Do not use shared features to harass, shame, monitor, coerce, stalk, or pressure another person. Only invite people who have agreed to participate.

Shared-list features may show selected habit names, list names, completion states, buddy names, mascot reactions, and invite metadata to people who can access the shared list. Your private journal entries, mood notes, chat content, and private notes are not intended to be shared through Buddy Nest unless clearly shown otherwise.

7. Acceptable use

• No unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, exploitative, threatening, or deceptive conduct.
• No attempts to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, bypass safety controls, or interfere with service operation.
• No submission of another person's confidential or personal information unless you are authorized to provide it.
• No use of Nuggets for emergency response, crisis monitoring, clinical decision-making, or other high-risk uses requiring guaranteed accuracy or professional oversight.

8. Availability, beta features, and changes

Nuggets features, mascot designs, rewards, AI behavior, reminders, Buddy Nest features, subscription benefits, and pricing may change, be paused, or be discontinued. Beta or experimental features may be incomplete and may be withdrawn without notice.

9. Disclaimers and no warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nuggets is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or that suggestions will be safe, complete, or suitable for your situation.

Any liability that cannot legally be excluded will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and remains subject to the liability framework in the general Umbrella Journal Terms & Conditions.
