No. Umbrella Journal does not replace therapy, diagnosis, or crisis care. Use it alongside professional support, and contact local emergency services if you need immediate help.
Create an account, open the app, and pick a prompt that matches your goal (for example, a mood check or thought reframe). Answer the steps, save your entry, and review it later to see trends and patterns.
Yes. You can write entries offline; they sync when you reconnect. Features that need fresh content, updates, or billing require a connection.
Use the login page and choose “Forgot password” to get a reset link at your account email. After resetting, sign in with the same email on any device. If you do not see the email, check spam or add support@umbrellajournal.ca to your contacts.
Open Profile > Settings > Manage Subscription in the app to reach your store’s subscription page, then use the controls there to cancel or switch plans.
Most new users get a 7-day trial on iOS or Android. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions before the trial ends to avoid renewal, or keep it active to roll into the paid plan you chose.
Monthly and yearly changes are handled in the App Store or Google Play subscriptions page. Lifetime access is sold directly through our website; it is a one-time purchase and does not auto-renew.
Entries are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored with role-based access controls, and never sold. Only a small, vetted team can access systems for security and support. See our privacy policy for details.
Yes. From Profile > Settings, choose “Download journal” to export your entries. To request deletion of your account or specific data, email support@umbrellajournal.ca from your account email.
Umbrella Journal is not monitored for emergencies. If you feel unsafe, contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away. Do not wait for an email reply from our team.
